While graduating at the Concordia University in Cinema, Catherine Lavoie begins her career as a makeup artist. With her degree in fine arts, she fully lives her passion for cinema and arts, and let her creativity flow. Very quickly,Catherine has built her reputation as a well rounded makeup artist in the entertainment industry as she worked on projects such as Netflix's Rom Com Single All The Way, Denys Arcand latest project TESTAMENT, The Whole Nine Yards, The Greatest Game Ever Played, Riddick, It's Just The End Of The World, Midway, just to name a few.

 

Born in Ottawa, Catherine has a 25 year experience in this field, which represents about 80 movies , series and t.v. shows. 
Her sense of creativity and passion for her work has also lead her to Fashion.

Her work – in association with many photographers and stylists – has been recognized and published in fashion magazines such as Châtelaine, Clin d'oeil, FHM magazine.

All Catherine’s projects show her ardour, meticulous work, and plain enthusiasm to do her craft.

She has worked with international actors such as Jennifer Coolidge, Léa Seydoux, Ally Maki, Maxim Roy, Matthew Perry, Tananobu Asano, Vincent Cassel, Gemma Arterton and David Bautista. As well as Quebec top celebrities such as Mitsou, Sylvie Léonard, Sophie Lorain, Marie-Mai Bouchard, Anne Elisabeth Bossé, Pasty Gallant, Réal Bossé, Caroline Neron and Debbie Lynch White.
